I'm not familiar with how Pro Tools handles editing to video, but I know that with Audition/Soundbooth (what I've primarily used for this sort of thing) and Sonar (which I've played around with), it's much easier to do that kind of editing if everything's on the computer. Honestly, unless you prefer to perform each of your instrumental parts on the keyboard, you're probably better off going the software route. Thanks so much! I need to be able to edit music to film, and I need it to be compatible with pro-tools.
